‘Our Fragile Space’ touring exhibition

Our Fragile Space: Protecting the Near-Space Environment is a ground-breaking photography exhibition by Max Alexander about space sustainability. It shows how congested orbital space has become with satellites and space debris, with satellites filling our skies at an ever increasing rate and that we need to be good stewards of this limited resource. This is set in the context of how we all benefit from the use of space. Of how we are polluting on the land, oceans, the atmosphere, and now in space, and what are we doing about the problem: space sustainability, with associated economic opportunities. The night sky is also a major project theme, for all humanity – with a focus on indigenous communities around the world, for their voice for the night sky, and with professional astronomy. The exhibition has been shown at the United Nations in New York and Vienna, New York Stock Exchange, European Parliament and The Mound in Edinburgh.
